Attorney Virga spent his formative years in Birmingham, Alabama, and moved to Panama City when he was 8. His family already had ties to the community. After graduating from the University of Florida, Attorney Virga continued his education at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, Alabama, where he obtained his law degree. At Cumberland, he was awarded Scholar of Merit for being in the top of his class in several subjects, including Torts II, Federal Civil Procedure, and Federal Criminal Procedure II. He was also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association National Trial Team, National Civil Trial Team and Trial Board, as well as an Associate Editor of American Journal of Trial Advocacy.

He is honored to have served as a member of U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions' staff in Washington D.C., where his primary duty was to advise Senator Sessions on legal issues. After completing work for Senator Sessions, Attorney Virga had the privilege of representing the people of Florida as an Assistant Attorney General under Attorney General Charlie Crist. After leaving the Attorney General's Office, he became an associate for a franchise litigation firm in Tallahassee, Florida.
