Deborah A. Hoey has been a legal secretary and paralegal for 29 years working with several different family law attorneys in various states assisting people through the difficult process of divorce and/or custody. She believes listening and being able to relate to the real problems we face as husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers is an important aspect of the job. Deborah Hoey works hard to be part of the solution as a member of the Virga Law Firm team, guiding and offering assistance to the attorney and keeping the client’s best interest at heart. She always puts clients first and deals with any issues and/or concern our clients might have no matter how small it seems.
Deborah Hoey was born and raised in New Hampshire, she has moved through various states within the United States with her husband of over 25 years and two children. Settling down in Florida, her family has lived here for the past 8 years and are happy to call Florida home.
Since 2016, she has been primarily focused on the needs of people in her community and around the world. This is evident in her efforts to volunteer for various organizations, such as: Ally for Circles (a Christian organization that assists and mentors people in getting out of poverty), five years with youth conferences in Atlanta and Orlando (working with teenagers facing issues in our current society like divorce and custody battles), and hospitality volunteering with her church (St. Dominic’s Catholic Church assisting, listening and welcoming all members).
