Brian Norback graduated as an Evans Scholar from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. After college, he worked in publishing before going to law school. Returning to Michigan State for law school, he was one of the first graduates of the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in East Lansing Michigan. During law school, he clerked for Legal Aid of Central Michigan (LACM), a non-profit law firm. He remained at LACM after graduation, and once he passed the Michigan Bar in 1999, he went to work for Legal Aid of Western Michigan in beautiful St. Joseph Michigan.
After managing the legal aid office in Michigan for four years, Mr. Norback passed the Florida bar and moved to Florida in 2005 after accepting a position as Senior Attorney at Legal Services of North Florida. There, he focused on litigation and was responsible for representing clients on family law cases, landlord tenant and foreclosure matters, and administrative appeals.
Since 2018 Mr. Norback worked at his own law practice in Crestview Florida. There, he concentrated on family law matters only – divorce, paternity, child custody and support, and dependency matters.
Mr. Norback joined the Virga Law Firm in September 2021. Since joining the firm he has focused exclusively on family law matters. Here, he puts his experience to work helping clients and families navigate difficult situations and cases in their time of need.
